Secret Admirer

Secret Admirer

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

Your face is enthralling,
Your deep brown eyes have got me falling,
and every time I see you smile there’s a firework display.

I love that you walk with your hands in your pockets,
and a picture of you I keep in a locket.

The way you speak it makes me weak
and the little movements that you make,
make me want to surrender, my heart you can take.

I’ve thought of these words again and again
with the ink spilling out my hearts words are now written in pen.

I hate feeling like this I am empty and complete;
to have you so close, yet so out of reach.

To feel such strong feelings without a reply
is heart wrenching and I feel like I’ve died.

I’d convey how I feel if it weren’t for the fear
of the pain that I’d face when you turn and walk away.

I’ll continue to feel what I’m feeling inside
until my heart has decided to leave you behind.

Though just know this; if you ever should read one of my many poems for you
I hope that you’ll keep it forever close to you.
