Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

It's like I'm walking through a green field while flowers bloom around me.
The sun shines upon me not a single cloud to see.
No wind at all, but yet, there's no heat
An extravagant feeling when two eyes do meet.
Should I talk? Should I listen? I'm not sure what to do.
Am I annoying? Too quiet? Why can't I be normal around you?
Do you like me, or are you just being nice?
I really like you, am I being too concise?
There's a speed in my heart when you look at me
and your eyes they shine.
Could I really be all that you see?
'Cause boy, I've got butterflies for you
and I've gotta know do you get them, too?
