A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

It's been 33 days since you shattered my heart,
I'm so numb and hollow; I can't stand the dark.

You betrayed my trust,
You succumbed to your lust.

Why would you do this to me?

What was the point of leading me on?
Of feeding me lies disguised as a love song?

Almost 3 years of being used for your games
I should have ran at the sight of your name.

I followed your light as it shined just for me
then cried as it faded into history.

My common sense was pulled into your trap
Then felt the bullet, capped.

Now here I am with a hole in my chest
And a burning love for you that I can't put to rest.
