Kidnapped

Kidnapped

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

The cold from steel seeps up her arms, the buzz of a light in the distance.
Her eyes they open, she moves to sit; resistance.
She tries again something pulls at her skin.
The sound of a creak, footsteps on the floor, a silhouette of a face she can't breathe anymore.
It caresses her hair and moves in near, brushes her cheek, her eyes fill with tears.
A sharp metal instrument pierces her vein, the warm red liquid slowly begins to drain.
Again and again the blade 'causes her torment, her voice tries to scream to no positive extent.
The time ticks by ever slowly, the thing smiles bright, it's aura; unholy.
Beat.
Her eyelids are heavy.
Beat.
Her heart beats unsteady.
Beat.
Her eyes stare at the knife
Beat.
It's the end of her life.
Beat.
Beat.
Beat.
