UnlovedA Poem by Caustic_Dystopia
Love comes easy to the cunning,
those who can make their words appear stunning. Love doesn't always come to the broken, those who'd give anything for those three words to be spoken. Love isn't always returned, more often than not someone gets burned. Her trust comes and goes with the blink of an eye and one night too many does she lay there and cry. Unable to block the taunts in her head more times then once has she prayed to be dead. Her hollow heart weighs heavy in her chest and though her eyes close at night she's unable to rest. The knowing just how useless you are has left permanent, yet invisible, scars. She fakes smiles while telling believable lies. She gets by each day saying she's fine. No one can tell through the smiles and the blushing that deep inside she knows she means nothing.
