Your Eyes

Your Eyes

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

Your eyes they betray you, just thought you should know.
Try as you might the truth they bestow.

They smile at the beauty found in the rain
And if you peak behind the curtain they also see the pain.

Honesty and love, darkness and despair;
A kaleidoscope of emotion hidden in your stare.

And even when you crumble, lost inside the dark
You're never there for very long for your eyes they hold your spark.
