(No Title)A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia
You'll never decided you'll just keep stringing me along
'Til I get tired of singing this song. Then I'll move on, shattered again And you'll be just fine, without a scratch on your skin. I won't casually cross your mind. And as you close your eyes my face you won't find. The sound of my name won't affect you at all And you won't lie awake praying I'll call. My memory won't weigh on your heart And living without me won't tear you apart. I'll say goodbye and set you free I'll close the door and turn the key I'll fall to my knees behind the locked door You lost the battle, but I lost the war. © 2016 Caustic_DystopiaReviews
