Late Thoughts of a Broken HeartA Poem by Caustic_Dystopia
It's been 149 days and I'm still not over you
I've tried everything I can think of, there's nothing left to do. You said to move on 'cause I deserved better But living without you just makes my eyes wetter. Sleepless nights, crying in the dark Are common occurrences since you broke my heart "Forever" was the promise you made to me "I'll keep your heart safe" so I gave you the key In a broken world, you helped me mend I should have told you, you were my best friend. The fire you started still roars deep inside And the never ending rain can't make it die. © 2015 Caustic_DystopiaReviews
