Song Thing

Song Thing

A Poem by Caulder

It might seem crazy what I'm about to say,
I know I got a bad reputation,
I'm thinking out loud,
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right

I'm always tomorrow-bound
Aimed for the stars and I shouldn't have missed,
Work a little harder, work another way,
There are those who think that life has nothing left to chance

We see you like I hoped we never would
Through all the good things and all the hardship
Pour a little salt, we were never here
We'll be home soon, so dry your eyes

9.5/10. I didn't think you ended very well.

I enjoy that the entire first stanza of this poem just tells the reader that you're going to say something weird.
