The Legend of the Heart of Christ has been passed down for centuries by the vampire clan of Krugen, a family descending from a long ancient line of German saints and nobility.

 

It all started when Christ, the Savior of the world, was killed on the cross in ancient Rome. The legend is as follows, in the classic German version it’s translation into English:

 

Christ hat uns sein Herz, meine Lords, aus einem Grund gegeben. In der alten Zeit wird es gesagt, daß Christ drei Tage in der Hölle verbrachte und mit Satan kämpfte. Während er dort war, war er wohltätig und gab unseren ersten Vater, Zorn, das Geschenk.

 

Das Geschenk benennen wir das Herz von Christ. Er stahl Zorn und andere, Furcht, weg vom Feuer. Als er zurückkam, meine Kinder, segnete er unsere Vorfahren mit dem Geschenk. Obwohl, als wir zur Welt kamen, unsere Körper in den von anderen änderten, durstige und ängstliche Geschöpfe des Bluts, gab er uns das Geschenk.

 

Das Geschenk, das uns glauben läßt, ließ uns, die wir essen, Atemschlaf und Liebe. Angesichts der Sonne gehen. Diese Energie wird in der Halskette gehalten, die wir das Herz von Christ benennen.

 

Das jüngste des Clans trägt daß Halskette Kinder und schützt ihn mit seinem oder Leben.

 

Christ has given us his heart, my Lords, for one reason. In the ancient time it is said that Christ spent three Days in hell, fighting with Satan.

 

While he was there he was benevolent, and gave our first father, Zorn, the gift. The gift we call the Heart of Christ. He stole Zorn and another, Furcht, away from the fire.

 

When he came back, my children, he blessed our ancestors with the gift. Though when we came to the world, our bodies changed into that of others, blood thirsty and fearful creatures, he gave us the gift.

 

The gift that lets us feel, let’s us eat, breath sleep, and love. To walk in the light of the sun.

 

That power is held in the necklace we call the Heart of Christ.

 

The chosen of the clan wears that necklace my Lords, and protects it with his or her life.
