Silence

Silence

A Poem by Catti*Bre

Bound by silence
she cries alone in the dark
These words, and these feelings are begging to get out.

Tape over her mouth, that no one can see
there is a story in her eyes
drowning in a sea of tears.

She is scared, and so angry
but she hates feeling that way.
Because she knows that the reason,
was because of her.

It kills her inside,
a knife digging deep
the red drains slowly from her heart.

She is bound by this hell,
entwined in her silence,
she cant escape.

Its one more breath,
she just cant take.
One more step, she just cant make.
She's being dragged down by her
body.
Heavy with sorrow she falls to the ground.
