Something small to help escape this pain.

To run as far and as fast as she can from the things that call her name

from the things that haunt her every foot step

from the things that keep her in the rain.

Something quick to put her to sleep.

Eyes closed against the terrors.

She doesnt want to take anything to sweet, that would make her lose her mind

just something small to end it all - the pain that she has inside.

No gun, no drug,

not to stop the beat of her heart,

just a little something to numb her inside

She's broken and torn,

she's tired and worn.

Like a ragdoll being flung about, nothing to stop her, nothing to keep her going.

She just wants to escape reality for a little while,

to let it all fade away.

For one night, for one moment, to leave it all behind

the screaming of the memories, to leave them in the silence.

To escape,

to breathe,

its all she wants.

She just needs that little something to walk away from it all...
