Summer

Summer

A Poem by Catrice

Breezes hot and blurry,

            sunflowers and ice cream

children laughing and squealing with joy

as water rains on their heated skin

rides and penny candy, bright shining trees and cotton candy

clouds, hot desert pavements and black tops of doom.

crystal oasis made of plastic sparkle under God's smile.

Funtime with love and sweet nothings under stary night skies with the songs of cricket stories and trees dancing.

A time when night and day only differs in brightness and when time itself stands still.

                          Days long, nights young, possiblities?

    Endless.....

Its summer time......
