Whispers of a distant dream

Based on a song I love.

A feather

from Cupid's wings.

A caress

as you sleep.

Closed eyelids,

there I'll linger.

A dream

I will follow.

A secret

I will watch.

Soft lips

I will kiss. 

A whisper

of night winds.

A breath

to awake you.

Love whispers

you can't feel.

You never loved me

and never will.
