Old Habits Die Hard

Old Habits Die Hard

A Poem by Cassie Black
"

Trying to get out of a slump can be difficult

"
Old Habits Die Hard:

What do you do?
When you've lost the world you knew?
When the ground has crumbled
And all you've done is staggered and fumbled?
No pain, nothing
Sharp pain, something
Regret immediately follows
With your world full of hollows
You were once so close
With the horizon infront of your nose
You've been dragged back
To these memories- so black
And when you've lost all hope
You've only one way to cope?

DEEP and well written, that is exactly how fast your world can change. I can TOTALLY relate but that is my goal, we can overcome, there is Hope, and NEVER GIVE UP. "Don't just B, but B amazing!" Google+ and YouTube a lot of motivational and informative stuff. Thanks for sharing this touching piece of reality. Keep writing!

Thanks so much!
Very profound and painful...But the sharper pain would give just momentary escape from the numbness that would inevitably return...Could the answers lie elsewhere...? Great expressions....
