I think I'm coming down with something

I think I'm coming down with something

A Poem by Cassie Black

"I think I'm coming down with something"
I proclaim to the world
"I'm feeling a little fuzzy
My brain keeps doing twirls"

My pulse rapidly changes
My stomach turns to knots
My hands get a little clammy
I've been feeling this lots

It strangely comes and goes
One minute I feel fine
And then I begin to think
And it starts again every time

I went to see a doctor
I told him what was wrong
I got my temperature checked
And sang "aah" like a song

"So doc, lay it to me straight"
I say, the suspense killing me
"I'm very sorry to inform you,
But you're in love you see"

"It's quite clear from your symptoms
And you're heart is beating fast
Give him three kisses daily
And hope it will last"
