Where Am I Now?

Where Am I Now?

A Poem by Cassie Black

When the struggles set in
I find my instinct kicks
In and automatically picks
The direction to head in

The air is cold out
I didn't ever want to go
Out and now I know
That I am out

The time is under
I feel all the pressure I am
Under to be calm
Without you under

Standing, I see you
And everything comes to
Stand still with you
And I just stand

There you greet me
With your unusual coldness
There is the boldness
Always present there

Over now it's over
Can we work this out
Over a coffee or doubt
I have to over

Hear you say you love her
That's not why I asked you
Here because I miss you
Being with you here

Suddenly I'm lost
All sense of direction gone
Lost without your song
Without you, lost.
