Mental Ruminations

Mental Ruminations

A Poem by Cathexis
"

13/01/2015 date this was written can't over remember much around that time but it wasn't a happy time

"
Darkness of the heart
Joys few and far between
The mind comprised
thoughts of hate and rage
Of circumstances beyond self-control
Living a lie
Facades of selfish design
To protect others from me
Life should be wonderful
If it weren't for the shadow holding my hand
Nothing quite the same
Nothing sparkles or shines anymore
Just a dull tint reminding
My life living in the confines
Of my mind
