Defined Path

My mind's a mess,

a reorganizing of beliefs,

an admission of truths,

shameful and revealing.

To walk this path 

that is my own,

attesting a positive mindset,

now I am not blind...

Cast forth into this void,

awakened and unbidden,

with the light untethered,

from the communal hole.

Acquiring and absorbing

new experiences along the way

to rein and balance 

the ego of reality

At times it can be difficult to accept certain truths. The truth of things is one part fact and one part what we perceive, whether they be that very fact or something that isn't quite that. Reorganizing and reassessing is quite possibly the most arduous task therein. Trying to separate yourself in a way that you become the observer of your self.

Best of luck in continuing on that path you walk. Don't be afraid to check out the roadside attractions though. They may lend an experience that could help shape your positivity further.
