Elizabeth MilfordA Poem by CatherynA flower un-knowing. A fire, burning: Elizabeth Milford.Elizabeth Milford Ball gowns, Sweets, and Tea Cups. Emerald eyes so bright that look up to the sky. Her head raised with pride, her chin up, Ribbons that surround her, a beauty comes nigh. She wishes, she wishes upon a bright shooting star. She dances, she dances so unknowing. A dance of beauty, one that is masked, The truth so very far. Walking with a smile so naive, A personality that hides the family name. For a month, dress in black, she had grieved, But she then dressed in pink, to see what who she loved became. A flower unknowing, A fire, Burning. To see him come back made her glad, She could still continue to live on, Even though she knew she had to protect him, There comes a butler, in black he was clad. Morning Tea is filled with sweets she loves. Heels so low that it becomes hard to live on, Her skin shines white like the color of a dove, The night ends, the facade unravels, revealing a fiery dawn. No longer the caramel sweet she was, Now the fiery flame that burned. With a sword in hand, she fights for one cause, She hesitates, she is reluctant, there is a pause. But then she knows that this is for, The one she loves. "I am the daughter of the Leader of the British Knights, Marquis Alexis Leon Milford: Elizabeth! The Wife of the Queen's Watchdog!"
