Good Night Kiss

Good Night Kiss

A Story by Catherine L

He opened the door and helped her out of the car being careful to steer her away from the curb.   When she was safely out he closed the door and turned placing his hand on the small of her back and gently guided her to the sidewalk.  They walked slowly up to her front door mindful of the closeness between them; it filled her with anticipation.  Using the hand on the small of her back he turned her to face him as he slipped his other hand up the side of her neck.  Then his other hand rose slowly up her back and between her shoulders stopping at the top of her neck; his fingers lost in her long brown hair.  Her heart skipped a beat and her breathing quickened.  He looked into her eyes and her body rose to meet his.  She closed her eyes at the very moment his mouth met hers.  She could taste him and every part of her wanted more.  The embers inside her were ignited and the flame burned hot.  The kiss lasted an eternity but ended too soon.  His hands cradled her face and he kissed her forehead.  “Good Night” he said and left her breathless.
