The makings

The makings

A Poem by S.J.Moore

Make me laugh,

Make me love,

Make me just feel again,

All I do is wallow in nothing,

Feel what has made me cry,

Love who has hurt me so,

I can't be truthful about my foolishness,

The fact that the I love you's were fact,

Nothing but a fabrication to make me happy,

Make me smile,

Make me happy,

Make me, me again,

I no longer feel anything that isn't sad,

I feel the pitty that only I give to myself,

Waiting for the one who doesn't care anymore,

I have hidden the facts,

When he said "I love you" and I asked him the truth,

He swore he would eventually,

That it was almost there,

Feeding and indulging me into an endless fantasy,

Make me giggle,

Make me feel the butterflies again,

Make me human again,

There is nothing but darkness left,

The sadness left to feel,

Looking at someone who is looking at someone else,

It was a figment of my vivid imagination,

She is now his dream,

I am nothing but a broken memory,

A broken record,

Just broken,

I am what could have been great,

The bud of a beautiful rose that was picked too soon,

This is what I am,

Something to shrivel up and decompose,

But isn't that just what I exactly am?

i like that one, yet another another...u should have ended it like "isn't that exactly what you made me?" but the ending was still good tho, i like the direction you go with every poem you post they are very heart felt and the flow well
Keep it up
