Once you stood so tall

Once you stood so tall

A Poem by S.J.Moore
"

It's strange to watch someone go from being everything to being nothing at all, but a shadow of their former self.

"

Delusions of a man who once stood so grand,

So tall,

This man is about to fall,

For the girl he loves,

Cares about him not,

The girl that he fell head over heels for is like this for someone else,

I suppose it's hard for you to be "just friends",

The girl who once held this endless torch is happy once again,

And where are you?

At the heels of a girl who is too shallow,

Too vain to notice the boy who would change his whole life for her,

The boy who would change her life,

What a shame it is to watch you on your knees,

But this is the kind of love that you longed for,

The one sided love,

Where you are just a pawn of momentay happiness and gain,

Have fun great man,

Humiliate yourself and lose whatever dignity you still had,

The honest hope that you hold for a future with her,

These are the delusions that will hold you back,

It is the kind that will always hold you back.

I'm not really sure that this adds up to being about anything.
