Rose Red

Rose Red

A Poem by S.J.Moore
"

I had just seen Steven Kings Rose Red. It reminded me of something that a man would use to describe a woman. So I took my shot at being Shakespeare. To bad I suck! ^_^

"

Rose Red

Lips the color of a rose,

For she is my rose,

My dream, My sustinance,

Without her lips I would die,

They quench my thirst,

They are her rose red lips,

Her rose red lips,

As soft as petals,

Her rose red lips the sweetest taste,

I love her lips,

Her plump red lips,

Oh how they remind me of a rose,

For they are hers,

Her rose red lips

I liked this piece. I think the way you repeated rose made the poem more powerful. I liked the structure. The whole poem flowed. Great work!
