Millionth Time

Millionth Time

A Poem by Caitlin Rhea

Bleeding from every pore in my body,
Nervous ticks happening again.
How could i be so stupid
And go back to you.

Body, mind, and soul,
Trapped in a nightmare.
You are no angel,
Horns sticking from your head.

Don't taunt me,
My weaknesses won't break me.
No not this time,
It'll be the love i hold for you to break me.

Daddy told me never to trust,
Never trust the woman you love the most.
Sweetheart, this is war,
Stuck in a battle.

Don't take this heart,
Darling, i think you're giving up.
I've seen the hurt in your eyes,
As you put the knife in my back.

For the millionth time.
