Tricks Of The Mad Magician

Tricks Of The Mad Magician

A Poem by Caitlin Rhea

Keep me thinking straight,
With a hand on my heart.
These letters have never been darker,
An uneasy feeling in my stomach.

This is no joke,
With my hands tied behind my back.
I was left alone and confused,.
Soul taken from my body.

Figment of my imagination,
Clawing at a back so unknown.
Burning passion inside,
Locked down in a cage.

Kept me sane,
In a body so lost.
When did I become so vein,
A wicked grin to use as attack.

Here's this heart of mine,
I don't mind use it all you want.
Tainted with my mind,
Grabbed me by the heart.

A gorgeous smile,
Covered with sin.
Notes written in my mind,
How did i ever become so blind?
