Feel Again

Feel Again

A Poem by Caitlin Rhea

I feel the soft wind,
From your straight lined lips.
Little do you know,
The feeling of fright that has took over me.

Don't just stand there,
Acting like I stopped you from leaving.
I begged so many times,
For you to leave with my cold little heart.

Seeing you with her,
Happy and loving.
What did I do wrong,
My little white wings turning black.

I never did ask to be held,
In your strong arms.
A way for you to mess with me,
Tortured and tattered.

Cough up my lungs,
Take those while you're packing.
I'm sleeping on odd couches,
For little space to worry.

Where have you gone,
Is she better then I was?
Does she look at you with such love,
Or is it a way for you to live?

My adventure is done,
Wings broken and tainted with.
Don't mind me I'm just torturing myself,
For a reason to feel again.
