Physically and Mentally

Physically and Mentally

A Poem by Caitlin Rhea

A push, a shove,
Always gets you down.
Don't let the pushing an d shoving get to you,
I see the hurt in your eyes.

It's always a hurt heart,
Slowly, silently, giving up.
I see the brokenness in your words,
Love, what a strong thing you felt.

A curse mumbled under your breath,
Putting yourself down.
Let me see your eyes,
Don't cry, if it's because of love.

A deep sigh,
Heavy enough to put you down.
Words slurred,
From the tears that fall from those beautiful eyes.

Don't shy away from me,
I see the hurt in your movements.
No one else might not see it,
But i'm not anyone else.

I'm the girl,
With the scarred arms.
The scared mind,
bluntly honest to everyone.

A soul so precious,
I see you're hurt.
Physically and mentally burnt out,
Don't give out on me yet.
