You never say a word.

Unspoken,

Yet the loudest person in the world.

darling, I see the tears,

No, I won't tell a soul.

How you mindlessly wonder,

Pacing the floors at night.

Screaming inside your head,

It must be an awful feeling, My love.

don't let them get you down,

I see your potential.

The way your eyes light up,

When your favorite song comes on.

Darling, I see the spark in your eye,

Swollen eyes, never looked better.

My favorite line. I saw red eyes that have been pushed from exhaustion because of all the fallen tears. You were able to explain to the person that they were still beautiful. There is a lot of love in this poem, I haven't read any of your other work, but this is a simply great style to express the love you have for your friend without it sounding cheesy, which is hard to do. So good job, I enjoyed it.

Thank you, my friend who I wrote this for...She went through the same thing I had, and everything I put into this poem, was all of the things I wanted someone to say to me, and I was hoping someone would see the emotions in it.

I can't see how someone couldn't see the deep emotions in this poem. I admire your choice of keeping the details between each other, example : "whisper the words"
the word choice of whisper shows your closeness in your friendship. This poem can be deconstructed line by line.

I wrote it awhile back...
I was in the hospital when I wrote it. I was in the hospital for trying to commit suicide, selfhatred, that's all I felt.

i commend your strength to share such a delicate moment in your life.
you know, some how it is easier to believe the negative words than the positive words,
But taking the blame of someone else or just of the situation shows your character. A child that knew more than the adults, no disrespect.

Yeah, It's something I don't mind sharing with people.
And my parents, were both oblivious to everything.

I have insomnia. Therefor, I only sleep about two hours of the day.

I have insomnia too. To me, people that can't sleep are more alive than those that can sleep. I don't see how anyone can sleep with everything that must be corrected in society and so on.

I can always think better, in the early morning, when it's just me awake. I feel like there's no worries in life, and I wish it was like that all of the time. No chaos.

Something about having most of the world sleep seems a bit addicting. I like the solitude of it. The quiet sounds of the world.

I'm the person that likes the darkness of the world. I love taking walks during the night, when everyone is asleep.

It has always felt like I could breathe more. And I've always enjoyed getting lost at views of city lights and the stars&moon
