I'm tire of war. I was raised with the Vietnam war. My children have the Bush's war. I pray for peace. Time for all people to demand the end to war. I know the 1.2 trillion dollar spend on war could create jobs and help education.

I have thought much about it man. The govts of the world can wage no war without men willing to fight. The paranoia of having to defend ourselves is a great evil. There must be civil disobedience and the acceptance of a law of humanity that supercedes the laws of panels of men. Charity to all in need is the way to get there.

my o my, 1.2 trillion?! that's a shock. Anyway, you are so very right here. War does nothing but destroys, bring tears to your eyes, and kills. Thank you so much for sharing your message...
coyote this is good stuff. I apologize for not reviewing your work too often, but whenever I log on, I'm always glad to do it. I could not agree anymore with this, war is just terrible. I have never been to war, yet I know (or at least only have an idea) of how terrible it is. It makes so frustrated to know that there are so many people who say they would die for their country and die thinking they did, when in reality their lives were wasted on stupid unnecessary wars. It's depressing thinking of it. Not to get political, but I consider looking into Ron Paul, he has the same view as we do on these expensive wars. Sorry about the politics, just thought I'd throw that out there since all of these politicians are the reason we're there.

He defends segregation and he has many other social beliefs that only aid in to creating strife and dissonance between the many subcultures in this nation. He is no man of peace. History has shown us what happened when the denial of human rights and institutional prejudice were normal practice. No man can declare bigotry and hate acceptable, ex aequo et bono, with any competent moral standing...no matter how he explains himself....Oh yeah...he also declares that a "Well armed society is a polite society"....It sounds like a perfect story for an eruption of violence to me.

All federal mandates put into place thereafter to ensure prospective rights associated all fall under civil rights as they are a derivative. Hate crimes are malicious crimes that are solely motivated by bigotry and hate. The institution of hate crimes was put into place to deter people from committing the murders and assaults against random people they hated for absolutely no reason for their own amusement. If two people of different races have a dispute based on some other difference, that is an entirely different story and the two should be looked upon as two people.

Exactly how is giving racists, bigots, homophobes and every other group of hate mongers a license to discriminate and treat others as they please a service to humanity? How can he be taken as a man of virtue when he would look the other way as these crimes against humanity are committed?

Ron Paul wants to destroy every Federal mandate put in place to protect people from being victimized because of hate, but what is he going put in place to protect them? I've read his books looking for some kind of action, but there is none to be found. He is against minimum wage, he wants to legalize illegal narcotics, but make birth control against the law. Privatization of the military and law enforcement in a land where bigotry is completely legal is absolutely unthinkable.
"....if we want to discriminate, we can."
Organizations that are private clubs can deny/refuse membership without any explanation. Any entity which serves the public has no legal merits to do so.

Defending hate is not in any American's best interest and it will never make sense. I will agree to disagree. The institution of a social heirarchy of desirable and socially desirable is not what is best for this country.

I am also tired of war, this hits the nail on the head. Did two tours in Afghanistan. There's no point being over there, it's a lost cause. I support my country, but not this war. Thanks for your poem brother.
