July fourth

July fourth

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Freedom isn't free.

"

                      July fourth.

I have stood with 15,000 Soldiers.
A division of Soldier believing in freedom and the America way.
Willing to protect and insure all people are free.

Here in the USA.
A melting pot of 300 million people.
Who knows good and hard times.
We do our best to get along.
Do our best to care for neighbors and friends.

Standing in a place where freedom of choice is allowed.
Freedom to think.
Option to aim at your dreams and goals is allowed.
Only limit is the wall of fears we create.

Freedom was create by blood of brave men and woman.

I stood at funeral of men who died in faraway wars.
Their family stood stronger then me.
The brother of my friend killed in Iraq.
Told the world on a large painting on his fence in his yard.

FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. SOME PEOPLE GIVE EVERYTHING.

My wish is simple for the People of the USA on July fourth.
For each of us to look at what we have.
To remember the good people missed in our life.
Be thankful for the opportunity to do great things or nothing.

USA is 235 years old on July fourth.
We can chose to go to school.
We can chose to work.
We can chose to love or fight.
We can chose the good or bad road.

This is our home.
Stand strong and proud.
The USA flag still stand for hope and opportunity.

I was born poor and had nothing.
I have what I need today.
Family is healthy and strong.
I'm thankful to live in a country where we will die to stay free.

Thank you for reading.

Today 300,000 thousand Soldiers are standing for freedom. Right or wrong USA will assist and support the people in need. I pray all Soldiers are safe and will come home ASAP. The world may know peace one day.

Blessed are those who stand for freedom, and who fight for their country. An awesome write encircling all the aspects of freedom, and the lives of soldiers. So many people do not know what soldiers have sacrificed for them, in times of war. July 4th is a day to raise that flag in their honor, once again.

A wonderful poem, Coyote! We must remember that we are privileged, in America, to enjoy independence every day of the year. We don't go to bed at night worrying whether we will wake to our neighborhoods being bombed, our homes being raided by soldiers, or to find that our government has been taken over. We must continue efforts to make our country strong from within by rehabiliting and redirecting criminals and hate groups. We must teach our children there is a better way; the American way!! Wonderful write!!! God bless and watch over those who are willing to give their lives to protect our freedom!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great poem to remember why we celebrate the 4th of July in the first place. We are blessed to with in a country where we have freedom of speech among other things, but freedom isn't free. There is a heavy price to pay for the freedoms we do have. A life of a soldier many times.

Some Americans are too willing to give up what others have died so we can have, thinking safety is more important than freedom. Your poem is awesome, a wonderful tribute to those who died for America and her people. Let's not forget for any reason. Nothing is worth more than freedom, not even safety, most likely that safety is an illusion.

This is a wonderful tribute to our military people of past and present.
I also really enjoyed the pictures you added. I think we sometimes forget
why we celebrate things, and this poem tells it straight...nice job!
