July fourth

July fourth

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Freedom isn't free.

"

                      July fourth.

I have stood with 15,000 Soldiers.
A division of Soldier believing in freedom and the America way.
Willing to protect and insure all people are free.

Here in the USA.
A melting pot of 300 million people.
Who knows good and hard times.
We do our best to get along.
Do our best to care for neighbors and friends.

Standing in a place where freedom of choice is allowed.
Freedom to think.
Option to aim at your dreams and goals is allowed.
Only limit is the wall of fears we create.

Freedom was create by blood of brave men and woman.

I stood at funeral of men who died in faraway wars.
Their family stood stronger then me.
The brother of my friend killed in Iraq.
Told the world on a large painting on his fence in his yard.

FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. SOME PEOPLE GIVE EVERYTHING.

My wish is simple for the People of the USA on July fourth.
For each of us to look at what we have.
To remember the good people missed in our life.
Be thankful for the opportunity to do great things or nothing.

USA is 235 years old on July fourth.
We can chose to go to school.
We can chose to work.
We can chose to love or fight.
We can chose the good or bad road.

This is our home.
Stand strong and proud.
The USA flag still stand for hope and opportunity.

I was born poor and had nothing.
I have what I need today.
Family is healthy and strong.
I'm thankful to live in a country where we will die to stay free.

Thank you for reading.

Coyote Poetry
Today 300,000 thousand Soldiers are standing for freedom. Right or wrong USA will assist and support the people in need. I pray all Soldiers are safe and will come home ASAP. The world may know peace one day.

Blessed are those who stand for freedom, and who fight for their country. An awesome write encircling all the aspects of freedom, and the lives of soldiers. So many people do not know what soldiers have sacrificed for them, in times of war. July 4th is a day to raise that flag in their honor, once again.

It is so true this poem is. I loved reading this. With each word i read i could not help but think about my dad and brother who is in the military and on how i did not know if they would come back to me but i knew they were fighting to keep me free. To keep my right to do what i please. I salute all the brave men and women fighting for our lives and to those who don't like the military and say hurtful things about the people who are in it not only the solders but their families too. i will like to just let you all know that this life is not easy. Not easy only having your father or mother (who ever is in the military) leave you for a year and not knowing if they will come walking off that plane or carried in a casket. So to all those who hate the military and the people who are in it remember this because of them is why you are free is why you have what you have is why you get all those rights. So please on every july fourth give your respect to those who dies and the ones fighting for your freedom.

This is an amazing piece Coyote, thank you for sharing it with us. You never fail to awe your readers. This poem is amazing. My family has many who served in the army. We are extremely lucky though, all our family came back to us. But each told us how they had lost someone they had befriended for this country. The people who lost their lives and are still losing them deserve more respect then they are usually given. These people are heroes without faces to most but still we are blessed to have them. Though thank yous are rarely said they should be.
