The leaders of this government must be held responsible.

What men do?

Misguided and no conscious leaders.


Retaliate and on rampage of the ritual of war.


Manifest demons and hidden ghosts.

We the people.
Mirage and intoxicate by liar tales.


Investment in steel and gas.

More precious then the innocent in the way of the gun.

Deceitful men.

Smile when talk of torture like common part of war.


Men do shameful things.


No excuse for torture in war or peace.


The horrid of war should leave us weak.


Sacrifice of people and cities is acceptable?


Are we shackles and blinded?


We have Iranians, Iraq and Koreans people living in the USA.


Just men and woman trying to exist in the craziness.


Now internal problem in the world.


In Iran killing men and woman demonstrating.


Being killed for their view and wanting change.


No sanity anywhere.


We live in a world.


Where human shields are necessary in Palestine.


Africa need aid of food and medicine.


Interference and humanitarian are necessary.


Need to quit selling guns to rabid leaders.


Time to cry out.
Enought of the useless bloodshed.
Gather the leaders of this world.
Create a plan and do it.


Soldiers are killing for leaders.
Who are
Impotent and hostile toward peace.
Inflamed with hate.
Blinded with self goals.


What can we do?


Doing nothing is not the answer.
Being intrenched and malinger in a cave.


We may wake up one morning.
Your child will ask you.



What happen?


Call your Congressman and Senator.
E-mail the president.
Create friendship with other people in other countries.


What men do?


For deceitful and cold-hearted men.
Must stop.


Just and human leaders are needed.

Humble and sensible men are needed.

Pray for peace.

Pray for freedom.

Pray our children can have a fair chance.



Pray the Wars and hate can fade away to children
scary stories.

i agree. we really need world peace. these wars going on are not good. also, religious arguments should stop. we should all live together in peace and harmony, no matter what religion we are. this is your best poem so far. keep up the good work :)

This is a very good writing. We are somewhat blind to what the government does sometimes and most of us are to afraid to speak up for ourselves when we probably should. How many more lives are going to be taken until the government figures out fighting isn't the only way to deal with problems. Yes sometimes it may be unnavoidable but if they really try then maybe the death rate for war will go way down. We need to be able to stand up and speak for ourselves. I also believe that we are all equal and it doesn't matter your race, color or beliefs. We need to learn to unite and stand for what matters the most, even if its just writing what you'd like to say or change about the world that we live in now and call our home.

Thought provoking. Also, It is a shame the cowardly terrorists hide in mosques and use "human shields." There is no honor in what they fight for. They put bombs on their women and children now. Barbarians. Other than that, there is much wisdom in what you say here,brother.

You are right, doing nothing is not the answer, all of us need to do something, even one small thing...all the world has become a crazy place to live. Making friends from other countries is a good start, I have friends from different parts of the world, from different religions, and they are all good people...it is the politicians that I don't like, and their ties to big business and money, that appear to be the cause of the ongoing wars.
I agree with Poppy, there is an awakenig going on, people are becoming aware and angry about the actions of politicians and those in power. We need more writers and leaders to unite us to stand together.

i could not agree more with all you said..
i ve always wondered,and dreamed what happens if the world was not ruled by the what we all know
now as the common politicians..for they are all liars ,corrupt and have hidden purposes behind
all that they do ,never believe anyone ,look further and you will see thee is some purpose
behind all their actions,and they confess it,they say its politics,without it the world could not be ruled
they say there have to be blood ,much blood spilt,much cruelty to be exerted so as to inforce
law and order..and IN ALL THIS THEY LIE..from beginning to end..
i wonder what happens if a poet was to rule over a country ,it happened With Ibrahim Rogova,In Kosova
and that guy i the check republic..i wonder how it was ruled in their hands,those people never lie
