Big Surf a-dreaming.

Big Surf a-dreaming.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

I need a trip. You are invited. Most beautiful and peaceful place. Big Surf, Ca.

"

                    Big Surf a-dreaming.

A un-mark road with a small sign will lead you to a hidden beach on Highway 2.

A small path will lead you to paradise.

A beach not safe for swimming.

But climbing into the rocks. Being one with the sea..

The waves will dance around you. You can sit and write.

The view has no equal for the eyes to see.

Pfiefer Beach is a  nude beach.

Famous for beautiful and sexy people.

The sea will steal the hunger from your eyes.

To view the beauty of the naked young woman on the sand..

I wish to drink wine at the River Inn.

Listen to the music and hear the voices of the Poets and musicians.

I was crazy then. Not so crazy today.

I remember when me and my friend chasing the poor people off Pfiefer Beach.

We were full of vodka and hate.

Told the world to f-off. Leave us alone.

So many sweet memories.
On a sunny hot summer day.

A young nude girl plays a game of chess with me.

I did not win.

So many nights on the beach sharing drink and coffee. So missed.

Where did the Poet go?

Where did all those beautiful and wonderful dreamers go?

Now I have only words on a sheets of paper.

Memories of a man running down empty beaches.

Telling the world to kiss my a*s are gone.

But, give me a chance.

I believe I would read my poetry at the River Inn again.

I would climb the rocks and be thankful to be alive.

Play a game of chess with a naked woman and lose again.

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
A old memory. I was young and free. Roaming the coastline with no rules. I recommend all young people to be free for a time. My Grandfather told me a man with many stories will need them when he is old and gray to bring back days of happiness and freedom.

I know Pfieffer beach and the River Inn, also from a time when I was young and free. Maybe I met you back then when I was camping there. That is, if you are truly an "old" poet like me.

I really enjoyed this. Look forward to reading more. Hope you'll give me a once over too.

Be well

This poem has showed me how your memories were, just as I feel and watch it. Another great poem written by you, well done.

Ummm.... don't we all have memories made of this: places we wish we could return to and maybe never leave again... full of vodka and anger... huuuummmm. But wait we can return.. thru our minds, thru our love, thru our heart... never the same but the same still! Thur our poetry we make that moment eternal! Live on dear poet friend.... Live on.

Enjoyed this very much and look forward to wandering thru your memories again in the next poem.

Memories stand out the most in poetry. Your memory is at it's best so easy to visualise. It makes me want to be at the river Inn but the nude beach would be too embarrassing for me.

Lovely one, we need pleasant memories in life, if not we should try to create them , for during our old age we will need the, rightly said....

This is a great memory. I haven't done half the things you have done yet but i am still young only 31 and plan to do a little of those crazy things yet and hope to do them well into my fifties or older. Who cares what age you are, it is how you feel inside that counts. I still feel like I am in my early twenties although I dont care to relive those days lol

Wow, that's nice!!!
Um.... Freedom... I think that the people now really don't have time to free themselves, even young... But I will agree that in old days, peple is so free!!
Time go so fast....
Nice written.
