"A wish upon a star"
coyote poetry,
This has the forever hope of young love; the optimism that was given an end but the heart dosn't know. Beautiful imagery of a wailing, hurting soul left to regroup and heal. Teqeula is the substitute for the sweetness of kisses and acceptance which were though a given. You appear to of written this a while back but memories can feel like they happened today. I hope that your soul has healed and things in perspective. Wishing you continued satisfaction and inspiration in life and of course your writing craft.
blessings,
Kathy

I appreciate hearing a little about this beautiful person and memory for you. It is so touching, what can I say? I wish you beauty of heart.

wow, this is very impressive! whats that saying...if you let your caged bird free, and it never comes back to you, it was never yours..or something to that extent....keep writing(:
it's so sweet to have fantasy dreams about your beloved, and in your dreams you talk to her and tell her how you do feel. i believe love first begins inside us then we find the one. yeah, when the person(beloved) is gone her memories are still alive.
This is so beautiful. Setting the one you love free and hoping for their return, you captured every emotion on what it is like to let someone you love go.
Perhaps an older poem, but still a Master's work. Once love strikes ones heart it never leaves, only it leaves a yearning that lasts a lifetime. Outstanding work, Coyote.
A Poet and writer who love to read and write.
My pleasure is reading about the bad and good in a life.
Also to honor the Poets/Writers of the past by reading their words.
