For a hero

For a hero

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

When you give your life for another. These people are the Angels waiting in heaven.

"

          Beautiful American

(For Rachel Corrie. A human shield protecting woman and children.)

Just a woman.

She gave her heart to people far from her home.

Stood in front of guns and machines to save lives.

Protecting innocent people from.

The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight.

She stood in front of a building.

Was crushed and die by Israel machinery.

Her life was lost for woman/men.

Who call her the Beautiful American..

                Coyote

( Need to go to her site. Rachel  Corrie.
People like her are the real Angels in a life.
                They died for peace.)

Coyote Poetry
We can' t get blinded by hate. When the beaten dog because the abuser. Holding hate and death over another nation. Maybe the country need to look deeply at their goals. I pray for peace in the middle east. Rachel Corrie went with faith and love and die for strangers. She is a true hero we need to remember her and many more.

Beautiful. Oh and shouldn't the 8th line be women/men? Just wondering but great write. So true also. People should care about each other more than they do these days.

I really like this. It's a sad topic. When our country is in this time of war, all we can do is support the people who truly love our country, and are able to sacrifice their lives for the safety of those around them. A lot of people think war is a terrible thing. I guess it is. But it's something that needed to happen. And it's people lkike Rachel who found their calling at war. Her destiny was to stand strong, and that she did. Death is hard to come to terms with, but she lived her destiny. She saved lives, and represented our country. I'd like to think that people like her are the face of America. Excellent job.

Very good poem. It was easy to follow and I enjoyed the imagery. I especially liked the line, "The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight." Great diction here.
I am just wondering if you meant to say, "Died" in stead of "Die" in the line, "Was crushed and die by Israel machinery."
I may just be reading it wrong, so I figured I'd ask.
Overall I really enjoyed this piece.

She was an inspiring woman, and you did a good thing to spread her story. I agree with Kasey, the poem does her justice. Good job.

This poem does her justice. It's very well written. I like this part:
"Protecting innocent people from.

The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight."

No greater love hath one man for another than to lay down his life to save the other. Your homage through poetry is well-intentioned and heart-felt, and I appreciate the legacy behind her actions. These are the heroes that we should be remembering and never forget.

This is very nice and it make me sad and want to cry when you said she stood in front of guns. It's a very beautiful poem and one that should be published. Is what I think.

I hadn't heard of Rachel Corrie before reading this poem. Thank you for the link. I think the message you are trying to convey is a serious one. The poem has a few mistakes, but the essence of it.. the message, is good.
