For a hero

For a hero

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

When you give your life for another. These people are the Angels waiting in heaven.

"

          Beautiful American

(For Rachel Corrie. A human shield protecting woman and children.)

Just a woman.

She gave her heart to people far from her home.

Stood in front of guns and machines to save lives.

Protecting innocent people from.

The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight.

She stood in front of a building.

Was crushed and die by Israel machinery.

Her life was lost for woman/men.

Who call her the Beautiful American..

                Coyote

( Need to go to her site. Rachel  Corrie.
People like her are the real Angels in a life.
                They died for peace.)

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
We can' t get blinded by hate. When the beaten dog because the abuser. Holding hate and death over another nation. Maybe the country need to look deeply at their goals. I pray for peace in the middle east. Rachel Corrie went with faith and love and die for strangers. She is a true hero we need to remember her and many more.

Excellent poem my friend! Something worth writing about, a human being sacrificing her life for others. I bet her parents are hurt and proud! This poem made me think of all those who have done such un-selfish acts on behalf of their fellow human beings. Like this mother who threw a mattress on her children during a tornado, sadly the mother did not make it but her children live today because of her. Yes my friend, not all human beings think of themselves and wonder what is in it for them!

That is so true... i wish more people were like that woman. I wish I were like her. If it came down to it i think most people would do the same as she did. This is really well written.
