For a hero

For a hero

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

When you give your life for another. These people are the Angels waiting in heaven.

"

          Beautiful American

(For Rachel Corrie. A human shield protecting woman and children.)

Just a woman.

She gave her heart to people far from her home.

Stood in front of guns and machines to save lives.

Protecting innocent people from.

The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight.

She stood in front of a building.

Was crushed and die by Israel machinery.

Her life was lost for woman/men.

Who call her the Beautiful American..

                Coyote

( Need to go to her site. Rachel  Corrie.
People like her are the real Angels in a life.
                They died for peace.)

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
We can' t get blinded by hate. When the beaten dog because the abuser. Holding hate and death over another nation. Maybe the country need to look deeply at their goals. I pray for peace in the middle east. Rachel Corrie went with faith and love and die for strangers. She is a true hero we need to remember her and many more.

this is a beautiful tribute to a brave woman. Im a marxist and belive in the palistian cause. however, im not sure this is a poem. i think it is more of a small short prose piece broken into lines, to look like a poem, or something. a dont think it is a good idea to put it in this site. its a political statement (one that i agree with) but its not a poem. it hdoes not seem to have any of the elements of a poem. it lacks any sort of figuration or crafting of language in a way that poems are known for. it should be an essay, this would do more justice to the lady. i would take it off this site as it is not a poem in any way that i can tell

I know when the war first started I wanted payback for what had occured, and as time passess I wonder how many more lives have to be lost because of the life lost on that horrible day in our history. At some point we have to stop bleeding and stop making others bleed. By the time this war is finished there will be way more lives lost fighting the war than for the reason the war started so which is the greater evil?

Awesome work! Selfless people as the lady mentioned above are hard to find these days. In a world full of hatred and misery, such goodness should be treasured!

Well said. Hate harms the hater more then the hated.
