Did I tell you?

Did I tell you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A wise person is thankful for what he has.

"

Did I tell you?

I don't remember if I told you how beautiful you are.

I have allowed so many things to blind my eyes.

Allowing disappointment to steal my smile and laughter.

I know.

If you left me.

I would become lost again.

I have twisted up my life in useless dreams.

Victories seem so far away.

Now I know.

You are my  only sweet dream.

That  I  have  gathered in my time of living.

I want to tell you.

I love you more than my own life.

Without you.

I would have no purpose.

Your love for me is a blessing.

A gift to a man so thankful for you.

Thankful for a kind lady  that touched his life.

I love you.

Your words are beautiful truth Coyote. This poem is a jewel to put in the crown of your love. It matches her beauty, as the photo shows. Eloquent, lyrical, tender...a song to the person whose love must never be taken for granted...in good times and bad...”Did I tell you?” In this poem, you did. Superb!

Beautiful and touching. I've made it my goal in life to find someone who can write something like this for me (big confession!). She's a very lucky woman indeed. A poignant write, we all need angels to touch our existences from time to time, and what a lovely ode to her :)

This is a very positive and loving poem. I agree with you, we should be appreciate the people who stand by us during the bad times and the good. Never get tired of saying "Thank you" and "I love you." You can never say those things too much. Outstanding poem.

Very Very sweet and straight forward. Sometimes we need a little reminder to appreciate our loved ones a bit more. Excellent write!

Yes we take people for granted to much and most of the time they leave. This poem was beautiful and warming to the heart. Great poem.
