Bloody Carnival

Bloody Carnival

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

HIV, Starvation and War. Hard to see the good in this world.

"

 Bloody Carnival

Disoriented and disenchanted with my world around me.

The carnage and blood thirst of war overpowered the men  and
woman of peace.

Asylum of crazed leaders need to be put down like rabid dogs.
The innocent children are betrayed and dismissed as only
body counts.

Causes and clauses blind the common man.
We must stand in the place of the people in the war zones.

Feel the fear and emotion of death always being near.
Hunger and violence all around you.

The bloody Carnival of death growing by the second.

In Africa today.
30,000 will die of starvation.
30,000 will die of HIV.
Pray for men, woman and children fighting to stay alive.

More Soldiers to Afghanistan.
Going to places who do not want our help.

They want to be left to their own decisions.
Their direction and dreams must be allowed to happen.

The obsession and desire for more blood will destroy all that
is beautiful and good.

The horrendous cost  of war could feed and give a place
to live to  every human being in this world.

The tyrants and men of hate.
Must learn from the men and woman in their countries.
War must end.

Mercy for the children.
Everywhere please.

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
I feel we must change directions. I asks my leaders why are we in the Middle East? They have no answers. Terrorist have been around for 3000 years at least. Better to have strong borders protection and proper security. There is no defense for crazed men who will died for a religion. We must protect the borders and allow the Middle East figure out what they want.

War is a very sensitive topic,
more sensitive when it comes to religious war.

I fail to understand why people would want to die for a religion.
when all religions say god is one, but with many names

Terrorists are around for 3000 years
but killers are around for much longer than that and its a basic instinct in every human

The more you desire for something, the more you want it
the more you want it, the more you will go behind it
and when this gives a clash, the person becomes defiant
defiancy leads to deadly desire, and nothing can stop that man from achieving what he wants.
Desire is the root cause of all evil

Everybody is rich in this world (rhetorical, read in religious sense)
But the way you spend things will make others seem more richer

Evrybody is poor in this world(rhetorical, read in religious sense)
but the way you understand things makes others seem poorer.

Border protection is important ,but no system is 100% secure.
People need not change the way they think
People need to change the way they understand others

Every War has a beautiful reason to start and a terrible reason to end.And if the End justifies the means ,as the saying goes I should accept with your point ,and every war is a failure

There is a saying in Telugu and it roughly translates as this :

The people who say that killing others is the only way to live
and to live, you have to kill
will they ever realise that they are their own enemies?

A wonderful piece of poetry , you have written down. However ,I should say , It falls flat when compared to the Killer on the Road.Rating : 100/100

I agree with you Coyote. I think we should let them
figure out their own lives and we figure out how
to end sufferings in our country! I know it may
sound harsh, but we cannot change them, or it
would have been changed 2,000 years ago.
Religion (I agree) is very touchy to most.
And well, politics just don't make sense to me.
Except that everything revolves around money.
Greed (I say it all the time) is and will be the
ruination of mankind and animal kind, too.
Sad

I agree with you. All we need do is defend our borders and stop letting people slip through. Wars don't really solve anything. Unless a country is invaded I can't see any real reason for them. They only benefit those who start them.

Really nice job on this.

I agree fully with you, we should protect our borders but stop these crazy wars that seem to be based on greed.

Such a great writing on the current situation in the world.

GREAT title! Bloody carnival. Fits perfectly. You're completely correct in this poem. We have to change the direction we are taking because it seems to be doing no good. (war)

In Africa today.
30,000 will die of starvation.
30,000 will die of HIV.

I love how statistics are thrown around in this because many people are not aware of the numbers. They are aware of the problem.

As for Religion, I've never really understood it properly. To die for it? That's just insane.
Overall, a great write, a real eye opener and a well deserving 100/100!

Well, war never solves anything love!
I believe we are lied to on a massive scale! And I am not a paranoid person! lol
Middle East holds the oil they want but not just that, it holds ancient knowledge of our history! Hmm, add up?
A great poem hon, I am with you - when freedom arrives and the truth, I shall buy you a double!lol

This is just a little bit awkward sounding, I had to read the line twice so it kind of took away from the poem. I won't give a suggestion though for fear of accedentally changing what you wanted to say.

I don't have enough time to get to the praising part of the review but I will come back and do that tonight. And rate it then too *smiles*

Your words are so true. You said it perfectly with this line...

The obsession and desire for more blood will destroy all that
is beautiful and good.

Excellent writing...
