Bloody Carnival

Bloody Carnival

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

HIV, Starvation and War. Hard to see the good in this world.

 Bloody Carnival

Disoriented and disenchanted with my world around me.

The carnage and blood thirst of war overpowered the men  and
woman of peace.

Asylum of crazed leaders need to be put down like rabid dogs.
The innocent children are betrayed and dismissed as only
body counts.

Causes and clauses blind the common man.
We must stand in the place of the people in the war zones.

Feel the fear and emotion of death always being near.
Hunger and violence all around you.

The bloody Carnival of death growing by the second.

In Africa today.
30,000 will die of starvation.
30,000 will die of HIV.
Pray for men, woman and children fighting to stay alive.

More Soldiers to Afghanistan.
Going to places who do not want our help.

They want to be left to their own decisions.
Their direction and dreams must be allowed to happen.

The obsession and desire for more blood will destroy all that
is beautiful and good.

The horrendous cost  of war could feed and give a place
to live to  every human being in this world.

The tyrants and men of hate.
Must learn from the men and woman in their countries.
War must end.

Mercy for the children.
Everywhere please.

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
I feel we must change directions. I asks my leaders why are we in the Middle East? They have no answers. Terrorist have been around for 3000 years at least. Better to have strong borders protection and proper security. There is no defense for crazed men who will died for a religion. We must protect the borders and allow the Middle East figure out what they want.

War is a very sensitive topic,
more sensitive when it comes to religious war.

I fail to understand why people would want to die for a religion.
when all religions say god is one, but with many names

Terrorists are around for 3000 years
but killers are around for much longer than that and its a basic instinct in every human

The more you desire for something, the more you want it
the more you want it, the more you will go behind it
and when this gives a clash, the person becomes defiant
defiancy leads to deadly desire, and nothing can stop that man from achieving what he wants.
Desire is the root cause of all evil

Everybody is rich in this world (rhetorical, read in religious sense)
But the way you spend things will make others seem more richer

Evrybody is poor in this world(rhetorical, read in religious sense)
but the way you understand things makes others seem poorer.

Border protection is important ,but no system is 100% secure.
People need not change the way they think
People need to change the way they understand others

Every War has a beautiful reason to start and a terrible reason to end.And if the End justifies the means ,as the saying goes I should accept with your point ,and every war is a failure

There is a saying in Telugu and it roughly translates as this :

The people who say that killing others is the only way to live
and to live, you have to kill
will they ever realise that they are their own enemies?

A wonderful piece of poetry , you have written down. However ,I should say , It falls flat when compared to the Killer on the Road.Rating : 100/100

i absolutely know what you aresaying...i wish we get over this insanity...about the terrorists i dont think its some religion if you are pointing out Islam,i'm a muslim but i would never kill anyone...its just hunger and poverty that misleads them..finally,yes,i think other forces should with draw,we should be allowed to solve our problems ourselves though,i doubt it ever were an attempt to solve the problems of middle east even in the start..it was all for oil,one perception.

brilliant work, and everything's just so true. we are very fortunate to be living in relatively safe and prosperous countries, while we forget that many others are suffering and dying in dangerous and harsh conditions. super strong

I agree my friend Eventually Afghanistan must find its own solutions WE have become part of the problem. The middle east palestine v israel is not helped by outside interference
I remember the terrorsist of Israel Irgun zvei leumi and the stern gang.WE eventually had to recognise them as legitimate governments. As you say thers is no protection against insane bigots prepared to die for what they see as religious reasons.
As long as there are arms manufacturers prepared to make monet from other peoples misery I hold but little hope for change

We do need a drastic change in direction, but the people who are in charge of that decisions either don't see things this way or aren't willing to admit that they're wrong for doing things the way they are. Very well written.

An honest and real account of what is happening the world over. Excellent piece!

This poem is so true and it has a true meaning. When I started reading the poem it had a great flow and it sounded like a poem. Then when I got into the middle I started to get facts about the war and Africa it's so touching and it's calling out to me for my emotions to be heard. As other people who think this is ok I realise the poem is trying to put them straight. I would love to give money to charity to help people in Africa if I get a chance then I will.

A very good advocacy for what is greatly right and what politics refuses to acknowledge so as to achieve peace... it touches on a very wide range of aspects of human life and I love it greatly. Marvellous writing.

I am of the same mind as you, but in my heart I know why we are in the middle east and I understand that we will not be leaving any time soon. This goes back and because of the sensitivity of the subject I shall not go into details.

I am of course in mind and spirit hopeful for man kind, in reality I think I know better this path we are on we will remain on because other things are more important to governments than people. Our entire society and others society is set up to use the people more so than to help them. If we try to help people we are called communist.

Great write.
