Two Brothers

Two Brothers

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

I learn how fragile life can be in 1988-1989. Better to be kind to your friends and family. World punish them enough already.

"

Two brothers

After years of running toward a road.
 I could not find.

I found out why I should of been kinder.
Learn to forgive.

Be a friend instead of a b*****d.
With only his dreams as his goals.

I look at my life with so many victories.

But the gift of love wasn't one of my skills.

I wished too late to listen.
Instead of lecture.

I learn not all people want wealth and power.

Some people are happy with small dreams.

They need someone to lean on.

Two young boys of 18 years.
One year apart took their own lives.

They were not equips to handle the fight the world of living.

When they needed the gentleness of a soft heart.
Someone to give them hope.

No-one was there.

They decided death was sweeter then life.

Alone and without any notice or words.

They kick away a chair.

Told the world to f**k off.

Why can't I feel complete?

I try to help them.
My hard words were cold and demanding.

I don't visit their graves.
There is nothing left of them.

I remember two strong boys running together toward a better place.

I hope.

I have become more gentle.
I accept mistakes.

I tell friends and family.

Please come to my home and everything will be alright.

Like all fools we become sorry when the story ends.

A heart wrenching poem that I know comes straight from your heart. To know any life was lost so young is tormenting to all that cared about them. Too many of our troubled youngsters choose this way out instead of seeking help for whatever is bothering them. Valentine

We had lost a few. Everyday should be a good day. We are alive and can do great things still.

This is a poem about brotherhood. Intense poem and lessons here.

it is great enough to consider brother our best friend. We could learn a lot from, and be our companion, our younger age tells us how we treat our brother and it gives us a feeling of guilt if somthing bad had happened....the bottom line our brother will always be our friend..Great

Wow this is a deeply heart wrenching poem. We all do need to be kinder to people and reach out when we think someone is in need. I try to be a kind person but I not always am. this poem pulls at me heart strings and makes me think that as human to human we should show more compassion. Great heart felt stomach wrenching poem.

This is a very sad write, sad situation, We often figure out that we should have done this, dont that said this, said that, after it is too late. But never beat ones self up over it. We just learn from it. And try to be better, to help someone in need, show our sensitive side more.
I really like this, was very emotional

Sometimes I think some of the young just can't handle this old world. I was almost one of them. Remember then and love them. I think they still will know.

This poem is simply raw. I wonder if it is something that has personnally affected you. You speak the truth because no one really does enough, always putting things off, until their loved one is no longer there to care for. I definately can relate to this.

It sounds like they at least had each other and I'm not so sure that they were wrong. It seems a great many folks pontificate over the vast wonderfulness of the afterlife but I don't see many of them running to wait in line for a coffin. At least they lived and died with conviction, they believed in each other, if nobody else did. We are all dying...it's just another word for living; for you can't have one without the other. I have seen the old suffer much and I'm not so sure I will allow myself that suffering. It's a question I consider more as I grow old. Better to be kind to all. Memories are all we are apt to leave behind. Solomon said the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong but time and chance happen to us all. With all that considered, eighteen is much too young to die.

some of us get dragged into the kingdom kicking and screaming...some of us are so fortunate to be salvaged to where we actually have a light that shines, brother
