What a wonderful thought .. the waves were the orchestra .. tis true, tis really true, the sounds of water ripple and play on and on endlessly. This is such a warm romantic poem, John .. a time of specialness and the making of lasting memories. A beautiful phrase, 'She was as beautiful as when I first saw her ~ and I held her like she was my last breath.'
(Comments not getting through, so many thank yous for your review to me, John)
The imagery is absolutely beautiful. I am in love with the line "I held her like she was my last breath." The whole idea is wonderful and this is a great piece.
I like this one. You have a very different kind of style. That's a very good thing about poets. This poems makes me smile... So delicate and beautiful.
So beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. You are so very talented, as I can tell by only reading this one piece! The use of sentence structure and emotion was portrayed very well. I felt as if I were there. Utterly magical.
Artistic words painting a serene but fulfilling moment in time. A nicely blended pairing of stanzas with the togetherness of the lovers. Two lovers, two shadows, two friends, two wanderers. Nicely written.
Wow, this is so stunningly beautiful. A waltz for the ages ^_^. I love your imagery, and your simple words. It is very difficult to write such a poem, as I know from personal experience. Thank you for this :)
