New poem sixteen for April. The poetry month.

The sea.

The old poet told the young poets, old ladies and the kids.

1- Bit by bit, piece by piece.

We are create puzzles with our words.

We must be kind to each other.

Negative words can tear us apart.

Maybe we should ask. Are you alright?

What do you need?

2- I told the young girl,

the sea, always waiting for us.

A kind friend who welcome us and

she is always a willing dance partner.

Best mornings and late evening are.

Coffee, a quiet beach and a place to gather our thoughts.

The sea can heal you and if you burn sage and pray.

Can make us strong and brave again.

I work in an industry where these words are rarely said, and rarer still appreciated. The results end up inevitable, but the people who say cruel word always look so surprised when destroying their peace led to their own demise. Humanity is interesting, thanks for sharing this.

Very interesting piece Coyote. Yes the Sea can be a Friend, but not when a Storm hits - then it is the most dangerous enemy. I enjoyed this, yr reflective side. Excellent ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
