No love, no glory..

No love, no glory..

( April is poetry month. Poem number fifteen.)

"

No love, no glory…

1- Can’t take my eyes off you..

I do not want to escape you eyes and

I need your hands in my hands.

Darling, my pretty sea flower.

You give me reason to dance, you give me reasons to smile.

My lady of the sea.

Thank you for the kindness of loving me and

teaching me. I am not alone.

2- So it is..

I told you on a September day near the sea.

After a time, we learn to accept less.

So it is sweet girl.

You can’t awake the dead.

You told me on a September night at the Irish Pub in Monterey.

We need nakedness, we need honest words.

We need to paint new memories, where we can win.

We need to show our real faces and forget the heaviness of yesterday.

We must write a tale about the sea, we must write a tale about kisses.

We need to create a chapter of two people who found the sea.

We went to the Monterey Bay and I told her.

My pretty sea flower, I adore you. And she embraced me by the sea.

Allowed the 2 am Pacific storm and silence to awake our hope.

She told me, dear Johnnie. No love, no glory.
