Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

April is poetry month. My number three poem. 27 more.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t..

( April is poetry month and my poem new number three.)

My friend told me. Be careful Johnnie. She is a feral cat.

Can’t tame or keep in the house.

She had ginger hair and eyes as blue as the deepest sea.

I didn’t know if I chased her did she capture me?

I told her.

( Jenny, Jenny. Prettiest gal in Austin.

Do you love me? And she laughed at my words.

She told me love is sweet, love is nice.

Dear Johnnie, love is so heavy too.

I told her. You and me.

Just ghosts of people, we take and steal and we want more.

Love is for the lucky, love is for the sane.

We are not sane dear Jenny.

I do love your eyes, the whiteness of your skin.

Your Ginger hair make me fall into your madness.

I am thankful for the gift of your time, your friendship.)

She gave me a sweet smile. She whispered.

We have Gypsy souls Johnnie. We want everything and we want nothing.

We are damned if we do and we are damned if we don’t.

So a hot night in Austin, let’s get bare a*s and swim in the Austin River.

Tell the world, we have enough. Life goes too fast Johnnie.

Let’s pretend tonight is our first and last night.

Let’s us celebrate being alive and free.

I brought her close and I told her.

We will buy some Gentleman Jack and dance by the river.

Make tonight last forever and more.
