We danced for the sea and we prayed to the Goddess of the sea for more..

( April is poetry month. My second poem. I will attempt to create 30 new poems.)

I call her my honey, I called her dear Jenny and she called me.

The mountain who could not move.

She loved the Pacific blue sea, she loved the violin and she loved the Gypsy songs.

She wanted to dance near the sea and we prayed for more ocean days to the

Goddess of the sea.

Dear Jenny taught me to suicide board the sea and she taught me the sea.

Was a perfect dance partner and better to fearless than a not moving mountain.

Sweet Jenny love the hazy day and the quiet beach.

We would drink till the moon rose above us and she would play her violin and

steal my heart and mind.

Dear Jenny knew I was seeking death and she wouldn’t allow me to die.

She told me often. Dearest Johnnie, we shall know.

( longing,

belonging,

happiness,

sadness,

good days,

bad days,

life is lesson and more lesson,

and we must make the good day and nights. Last forever.)

I left her for another war and dear Jenny told me. Don’t die for old hate.

Find your proper place and remember me.

We danced for the sea and we prayed to the goddess of the sea.

And we wanted more.
