In hell, I will be in good company..A Poem by Coyote PoetrySecond new poem.In hell, I will be in good company.. In is 2.18 in the afternoon and I am dancing with The Death South. It is a cold ugly Winter day in Michigan and I am seeking faces, I am seeking memories. I am drinking Gentlemen Jack alone. I have been a lot of people, tried my best to stay away from the naysayers. Today I need a warm day, today I need the sea. I need my Gypsy friends and I need some Gypsy song. I am tire of people telling me, God will save you. Last night I drank and I cried for 67 people, I did not know. Beautiful children and people, who were stole from the world. I tell the people, you must save yourself. I will burn sage for the people lost in Washington D.C crash. Today, all my wild friends had settle down and I tell the cold Winter day. In hell, I will be in good company. My daddy was a hell-raiser, four wives and eleven children. Drank a bottle of rum nightly since his days in the Korea war. He told me, Johnnie. Don’t allow anyone to box you in. Fight, run and keep your free mind. The rum killed my daddy and I am thankful I was his son. Most of my good friends are gone, now I have my words and my books. I was a soldier and I loved the whiskey and I loved the wild eyes women. Today I will write my advice to you. Seek things you love. Dance often and know a million kisses. Laughter and good music is the medicine we need. Children are the wealth of the world. Today my world is ugly, dumb as a rock, man running my USA. I cannot escape but I will seek faces, I will seek places. In my old age. I have outlived my sins and now I need little. Today I am writing poetry, needing a warm day. I will drink my Gentleman Jack and water and send a request to Hemingway. Please save a seat for me. Dancing Coyote © 2025 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
