Nothing could stop me..

Nothing could stop me..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Old poetry with a re-write.

"

( Some desires, some memories can break your heart. Sometime we are wrong and nothing can stop us. From making a fatal mistake. I know.)

Nothing could stop me..

Was a warm Summer day in Germany. And I saw a beautiful German girl. Blond hair,

long legs, a white Summer dress and the sweetest smile.

Nothing could stop me from attempting to know her.

Was a gentle July breeze and I felt the warning of a new journey to begin.

Nothing could stop me from following her. Her hair flowing in the gentle wind.

The gesture of her walk pulling me nearer to her.

Not even the warning of my heart could stop me. For when you turned and caressed me

with your ocean blue eyes. So gentle, I was lost already.

Not even the love of another could make me walk away from you. For we already twisted

in the chaos of love without one kiss.

Nothing could stop me from talking to her. We talks of our dreams and hope. Somehow

we entwine our two lives with a verbal agreement.

Not all life is fair. We would become one, leaving tears for others to cry.

I learn nothing last forever. Even the sweetest kiss, the greatest love will fade away.

Not even the kindest love can be. For when the heart is young. We will allow the greatest

love to fade away.

Nothing can last, except the memories. Those are the stories that will haunt us forever.

Today I want nothing. But maybe to be unafraid. For tonight. I can still see the young lion

chasing the dream of love and hope.

Johnnie

I was young and given to uncharted whims, had I been easier to the eye and more socially adept I was sure to make a lot of friends. I remember that my sister would be with me at times and we would approach total strangers to make acquaintance and have passing conversations! Such temporary engagements do have leave their mark on our souls and have a lasting impact, not to mention a fleeting but superbly exhilarating pleasure. Glad you shared. It has resurfaced a part of my younger years and it’s human connections.

I read this through a few times to see if my initial interpretation would remain consistent. And it did. To me, "nothing could stop me" sadly translates to "I let fear stop me and it slipped away". Maybe that's not the way you intended it, but I found it quite impactful to think that the lion never did have the courage to actually meet or speak to the lioness of his dreams.
Also, a great line: leaving tears for others to cry. A very cool line. Great job.

I had a similar encounter. I knew it was wrong...I am a rational person who doesn't cede to temptation. But as you stated " nothing could stop me".
Great piece!

I agree my friend. Old love lost shall haunt us. Thank you for reading and the comment.
HI Coyote,

Do you know how evil mind thinks and does torture to people, do you think people change?

She will nver change, please dont guide your good friend to do evil more,
I have given everything for him, he didnt even carign for me because of her, he is helpless, i know, i just want to wait for fate to take action, it doenst mean being good to ohters will solve the problem, people are just takign advantage of others so much that they are so greedy for their selfish needs, what we can say about those people, God will definitely punish them forever letting them out with peache forever.

i know how to handle myself because i never hurted anyone, never greedy for anything. i know how to behave with in my life with what i have,
do you ever thought, how much i cared for him, and everything i sjust a waste because of his helpless nature,

Even lord Krishne, waited to bear 100 scold from a rakshas, as per his karma, when it reached 100 scold to him, he was killed by HIM with his chakra.
I am just waiting for the evil nature to reach its limits, then she will be done out of this world.

thank you for reading my reply which is irrelevant here but you know evry well what i wrote here.
