Do more..

1- I was blindsided by her.

Her eyes, bright and demanding.

I asked her. What do you need my lovely?

She gave me a devilish smile and she told me.

Give me some more my love. Make me feel I am alive.

2- Intoxication..

I told her, you have the most kissable lips, I ever seen.

She looked at me with interesting eyes and she asked me.

We drink, we do the Texas two-step in Belton every Friday and Saturday.

We befriended each other because we like the whiskey and the music.

Now you believe you deserve a kiss?

I told dear Elena. My Texas beauty.

Kisses are gifts. They are honored gifts.

She smiled and she kissed him. Leaving lipstick of red on my lips.

She asked him. Was it a good kiss Johnnie?

He told her. The greatest kiss, I ever been given.

Thank you dear Elena.

She asked him. Now you will want more kisses?

He told her. Yes beautiful Elena.

Maybe a million more?

I like the way the poem is served in two parts; the initial section where she asks to be desired and the second section where his romantic words lead to him seeking the kisses he desires. Sometimes we need to remind those we love that they are indeed loved and cherished. Our reward is unlimited displays of affection.

It’s a very romantic writing, Coyote. I hope you did reach the million kisses mark.❤️

Dear J, it is said that “A kiss that is never tasted is forever and ever wasted.” The kisses you received from Elena made such an impression on you, I feel they were definitely tasted and savoured as precious food for your heart. Kisses keep a couple close together and I love how you say they are gifts from one lover to another. "Some are intimate and passionate, while others are friendly and comforting. Whatever the type of kiss, it's a non-verbal way of expressing the love, affection and connection between two people." I enjoyed reading and thank you for sharing, dear J... Lovely write! Well inked and thought provoking too as until now I never thought about kisses until I read your poem and now, I miss not having them...
